Red Refinery Foam Tender
The Red Air Crash Fire Tender is a high-speed, high-capacity airport emergency response vehicle engineered to respond quickly at airports and airbases to manifest aviation-related incidents. Designed to respond to aircraft crashes, runway emergencies, or fuel fires, this tender complies with strict international safety and performance regulations such as IS:951, ICAO, NFPA, and the Ministry of Defence.
With the power of a powerful diesel engine, the tender takes 35-40 seconds to go from 0 to 80 km/h, with a maximum speed of 100 km/h, to provide immediate reaction over expansive airport runways. It is powered by an engine-dependent gearbox PTO and consists of a normal pressure pump (8.5/10.5 bar) and limber for fighting fires under demanding circumstances.
With aater tank (MS/SS) capacity of 8000-10000 liters and a stainless steel foam tank of 2000-7000 liters, the tender comprises an automatic around-the-pump foam system. There are three types of fire suppression: manual or remote-controlled turret foam monitors, foam sprinklers and monitor heads, and foam and water standpipe systems (Akron). Other firefighting systems include DCP units (150–300 kg) with hose reels and 4–6 CO₂ extinguishers of 22.5 kg each. The control system incorporates pneumatically controlled buttons and manual levers, allowing for a perfect flow with the touch of buttons in case of an emergency.
The body construction is a rugged MS/AL/SS panel with rolling shutter or door lockers, which guarantees rapid and secure equipment access.
